Benefit Consultant

The Benefit Consultant acts as a primary point of contact to employees with questions about their employer-sponsored core and voluntary benefit plans.  The Benefit Consultant will meet with employees on a one-on-one basis to discuss their benefit options, and assist them through the enrollment process.  



  • Conduct lunch and learn workshops to communicate the value of our diverse line of products

  • Educate and enroll employees in benefit offerings

  • Answer questions to educate employees with buying decisions

  • Communicate information thoroughly and perform work completely and accurately



  • 3 years working experience in Insurance benefits or Sales

  • Possess a NYS Health Insurance license or be willing to obtain within 60 days

  • Strong presentation and customer service skills

  • Must be able to travel within assigned territory

  • Have an entrepreneurial spirit and be willing to invest time, energy, and resources 

  • Professionalism, interpersonal, business management, and communication skills are key



  • Unlimited earning potential ($75-100k first year)

  • Residual income after 1st year
